Daniel Craven. Aspiring Visual Development Artist

Creativity is my sixth sense. It’s been a part of me as far as I can remember. I believe the best way to experience life is to try new things through your senses, and I treat creativity no differently. Personally, when given a project I can't resist challenging myself to do something a little different and to improve upon whats been done. I’ve produced some of my best work when I let go of the familiar and switch my perspective.

Currently, I’m working towards shifting my career into Visual Development. While I enjoy being creative in a variety of ways, my true passion has always been illustration. I love being able to tell a story and engage someone emotionally with just a single image. This is why I especially enjoy caricature work; it's more than just a 'tooned depiction of a person, but a visual summary of who they are.  

 

I firmly believe that art in all of its many forms has the power to change the world as it has been doing from the very first time our primitive ancestors put charcoal on a cave wall. I can only hope in my lifetime that my art will serve to connect people together.
